RunHer

Empowering Girls to Go The Distance

RunHer is program designed to empower middle school aged girls to train and complete UNO’s Carrera de Los Muertos 5K. Guided by UNO staff and our partners including a mental health specialist and runners from Pilsen’s Venados running club, the girls will strengthen their mental and physical health through mentorship, walking/running activities, culminating in the completion of their first 5K run.

Congratulations to our inaugural group for completing their first 5K!
